This BMW F20/F21 & F30/F31 EVO Competition Intercooler kit from Wagner Tuning is a high-performance redesign of the OEM intercooler system. These intercoolers offer a significant improvement over the OEM design, offering 85% more surface area than the OEM intercooler which also features a tube Fin Intercooler core rather than a bar plate core for enhanced efficiency.

Wagner's engineers revised their front mount intercooler with much larger, more efficient intercooler core and improved the end tank design to remove the OEM bottlenecks, resulting in a greater increase in flow and charge cooling properties. When upgrading to a larger intercooler, the larger volume can sometimes cause a loss in manifold pressure (boost), but Wagner Tuning's engineers have tailored the flow of the intercooler to create a design that offers minimal loss of boost pressure.  Manufactured utilizing the highest quality intercooler cores, these intercoolers also feature cast, then CNC-machined aluminum end tanks to ensure reliable high performance air to air intake charge cooling.
