This 2010-13 Mini Cooper S Competition Intercooler kit from Wagner Tuning is a high-performance redesign of the OEM intercooler system. Designed for the facelifted 2010-13 [R56] Mini Cooper S, these tube fin core intercoolers offer a significant improvement over the OEM design, offering 220% more frontal surface area than the OEM design and 280% more volume than the OEM intercooler.

Wagner's engineers revised the OEM Mini intercooler system with much larger, more efficient stepped intercooler core and improved the end tank design to remove the OEM bottlenecks, resulting in a greater increase in flow and charge cooling properties. When upgrading to a larger intercooler, the larger volume can sometimes cause a loss in manifold pressure (boost), but Wagner Tuning's engineers have tailored the flow of the intercooler to create a design that offers minimal loss of boost pressure. The stepped design also features turbulators within the core to improve airflow.  Manufactured utilizing the highest quality intercooler cores, these intercoolers also feature cast, then CNC-machined aluminum end tanks to ensure reliable high performance air to air intake charge cooling.

Designed to conform to the strictest fitment standards, these intercoolers from Wagner Tuning offer OEM-grade fit and finish for straightforward bolt-in installation without the modification sometimes necessary for parts manufactured using less-exacting processes and comes complete with a mounting kit.
