When Vargas Turbo created the Stage 2 Hybrid Upgrade for the BMW N55 motor, they didn't want to offer a product that was solely a replacement.  They wanted to squeeze just as much asphalt shredding horsepower out of the N55 motor as they possibly could while keeping it reliable with bulletproof Garrett internals.

Vargas' N55 Stage 2 upgrade consists of a GENUINE Garret Dual Ball bearing center section, coupled with VTT custom reverse wheels. The compressor is a full billet HTA style 6x6 blade wheel, and the turbine is a Garrett style 10 blade design, these are the same turbine wheels you would find in the Garrett GT line up, but made in reverse rotation per our specs. DBB stage 2 upgrade also includes a custom VTT forge DV to replace the stock plastic DV which are prone to cracking, and leaking. This upgrade will support 475-525WHP with quick spool and plenty of flow to redline. Turbo upgrade includes everything needed to install turbocharger including all water, and oil lines, hardware, DV harness, vacuum hose, and o-rings.

And what is the outcome you ask?  Well this kit right here is able to handle 500-550WHP with certain tunes and fuel tweaks.  The hybrid system allows for reliable and consistent boost all the way up to the redline.
