SLP Engineering introduced the industry’s first "Emissions Legal” performance package for the Camaro and Firebird platforms in 1988, which lead to a formal relationship between General Motor’s Performance Part Division, which allowed aftermarket enthusiasts to purchase SLP products from any GM dealership anywhere in the country.
