Quick Shine (Return to Product List) ClearKote Quick Shine – Pad Lubrication for your Porter Cable: Misting you pads prior to buffing will help provide lubrication and more effectiveness out of your polish. It will help keep the polish on the surface of the pad and also help spread it more effectively. When using a new pad, mist slightly more product than normal use. Mist as needed, however we suggest at least reapplying quick detailer onto the pad at least three times during a coat. After the coat is finished, make sure you clean the pad thoroughly with Snappy Clean Pad Cleaners.
ClearKote Quick Shine – Clay Bar Lubricant: When using a clay bar, you want to make sure the surface you are trying to remove contamination on is properly lubricated, otherwise, you will notice the clay bar skid, stick, or smudge the paint. With out proper lubrication you can severely reduce the benefits of using a clay bar. Each spot of your 2’ x 2’ area should have some quick detailer on it. If you feel the clay getting stuck to your paint or it is skipping across, you know you do not have enough lubrication. Wipe off excess Quick Shine with a microfiber towel.
ClearKote Quick Shine – Post Wash and Touch Ups: It is very difficult to achieve a perfect wash and dry. There may be some small water droplets that you forgot to remove, contaminates, etc. You can use the Quick Shine as a quick detailer right after you wash and dry your vehicle to ensure you have fully cleaned the vehicle. Another major benefit from quick detailing is that it will enhance the gloss and depth. Mist a clean Microfiber towel with the Quick Shine and begin to gently go over the freshly washed surface. After a couple of panels, flip the towel over to an unused portion and repeat the process until the entire car has been quick detailed. Another method is to mist the paint with quick detailer while it is still wet and dry the car as normal. It is like killing two birds with one stone, drying and quick detailing in 1 step.

The coats are not stackable, so doing coat after coat does not yield better protection. Some detailers will apply two coats to ensure that 1 coat completely cleaned the surface and the second coat will ensure proper complete coverage.
After Treatment: For optimal protection, follow up with a pure sealant. This will help enhance the gloss as long as give it longer protection. Another option would be to top with a pure carnauba wax. This will enhance the depth and shine on the paint.
