Robert is a Southern California native hailing from West Covina, and a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona. He has always been surrounded as well as obsessed with cars and has had a few projects that he has built over the years. While attending school, Robert was working in corporate cell phone sales and was building a 240sx up until one day a certain render surfaced on Speedhunters a few years ago.

Then, the Rocket Bunny FR-S render had surfaced and the obsession began. Having various friends in the different show, race, drift and fitment scenes he began to tie in an element from each and his build began to come to life in his head before he even owned the car. After finally coming in contact with Miura and explaining his plan on bringing Rocket Bunny to the streets of the U.S. and proving that an aggressive car such as this could be daily driven, Miura agreed to support his build. Shortly thereafter word leaked out through one of his friends and was contacted by various companies that wanted to work together on the project and it landed a SEMA booth spot in 2012. With over 20 companies the car came to life and was absolute chaos in the process. While working a full time job and carrying a full load at Cal Poly, both Robert and Platinum VIP managed to finish the car with only 1 hour to spare before the trailer arrived to bring the build to SEMA. He work very fast and efficiently with multiple projects at the same time. Almost overnight the build went viral, numerous magazines contacted him and instagram pages and online publications went nuts over the styling and execution of this over-the-top JDM styling being in the U.S. and in front of them. Follower count went from a few hundred to a few thousand within days and it just kept growing after that. With his expertise in wheel fitment, suspension set-up and styling, it ended up looking exactly how the render looked that Miura and him had come up with before cutting up the car. After SEMA he went full force into growing his brand “StayCrushing” and worked with over 40 manufacturers total on his build and began to assist in other builds as well. He knows the FRS/BRZ inside and out and every way how to mod it as well as many other platforms. Being heavily involved in the automotive industry he also helps track down in demand product that is hard to find.

After 7 revisions so far, Robert is also currently rebuilding his car yet again with a new wheel/tire and suspension setup and soon will also debut the Rocket Bunny v3 widebody as well as a motor build from Crawford performance. Whether it be performance oriented or aggressive fitment and aero oriented, he can help point you in the right direction. Also being a brand ambassador for brands such as Toyo Tires, Forgestar, and Vortech; he personally uses many of the brands we recommend and sell and can give you direct hands on experience as to how each product looks and performs. Being very active in social media, online publications and print magazines; Robert is always looking for new content to feature and cars to help build.
