modbargains Sponsors Bimmerfest Events for BMW Enthusiasts
LA HABRA, CA (May 29th, 2014) – modbargains, a recognized leader in the automotive parts and accessories industry, has announced its sponsorship of the 2014 Bimmerfest event series. Bimmerfest, held annually each year on both the East Coast and West Coast, brings thousands of BMW enthusiasts together to share the latest trends and modification options for the sports cars commonly referred to as ‘bimmers’.
Bimmerfest West recently took place on May 17th at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA. The event attracted over 6,000 BMW enthusiasts. Attendees engaged with other BMW owners and fans, as well as vendors and sponsors. The East Coast version of the event called Bimmerfest East will be held in Aberdeen, MD this coming August.
"Bimmerfest and modbargains have a strong partnership that goes back to 2006,” said CEO of modbargains Mike Brown. "Our companies have worked together to help improve the entire buying and owning experience of the BMW car enthusiast, and we look forward to continuing this tradition at the Bimmerfest events.”
Bimmerfest is made up two main components: the online forum at bimmerfest.com, and the annual events Bimmerfest West, and Bimmerfest East. The website currently has over 400,000 members and receives over 1 million unique visits each month. The annual events date back to year 2000, and continue to grow attendee numbers each year, with 2014 being a record setting year.
"Bimmerfest provides a dynamic online platform that’s often a starting point for many enthusiasts entering the BMW community,” said Bimmerfest Founder Jon Shafer. "Once our website visitors really start to get into it, they’ll attend our Bimmerfest events to meet other enthusiasts, see the cars, and speak with experts like modbargains to personalize their BMW ownership experience. I’ve actually had this experience myself and used modbargains to modify my own BMW M3. The knowledge and customer service is always second to none.”
With more car enthusiasts looking to online communities and social media sites to do their research and share information, companies like modbargains and Bimmerfest will continue to find innovative ways to leverage digital and multi-media technologies to enhance their customers’ BMW experience.
