Job Description:
Social Media Coordinator/Videographer/Photographer

The Social Media Coordinator/Videographer/Photographer is responsible for the management and development of social media channels with the aim of driving engagement, building audience, increasing web traffic, and driving website purchases.

Through the utilization of Video media and Photography, the position will support the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns across all social media outlets and will work collaboratively with the marketing, e-commerce and development teams to meet shared objectives and provide insights and analysis to improve impact and effectiveness of social media campaigns. The position will drive the improvement of the company’s social media competencies and understanding across the wider business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creates and posts engaging and relevant content daily.

Capture and edit photos daily

Film videos, for company videos, from Educational content, to product , to DIY

Editing videos for format for YouTube, Shorts, IG Stories, TikTok ETC.

Develops engaging digital content for company blog, email campaigns, etc.

Works with team to brainstorm and write content for social channels.

Creates relevant, thoughtful, well written and executed social media posts including photos, videos and images.

Monitors social media channels for mentions, feedbacks, opportunities and questions.

Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the company to ensure a positive customer service experience.

Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology.

Researches strategies for expanding following/reach on through popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn

Publishes weekly social media posts using social media scheduling tools (future).

Provides marketing support and social media coverage at automotive events and shows.

REQUIREMENTS

Advanced skills in the use of, interacting with and monitoring of all social media channels and applications

Superior communication skills, both verbal and written, required.

Understanding of and proper utilization of hashtags.

Self-starter mentality, with strong attention to detail multi-tasking ability, and outstanding organizational abilities.

Basic photography and video editing skills, required.

Familiarity with graphic design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, a plus.

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.

General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content.

Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to utilize marketing concepts throughout various forms of outreach.

Knowledge of database maintenance, preferred.

Collaborative team player who can integrate with diverse cross-functional teams and simultaneously work toward a multitude of company initiatives at once.

Team player help out on other job aspects and situational needs of the company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Degrees preferred are marketing or communications (majors/minors) or candidates with media marketing focus with up to 2 years of relevant experience supporting marketing and utilizing social media channels, or a relevant combination of education and experience.

Support and/or maintenance of social media channels (beyond personal profiles), a plus.

Automotive enthusiast with experience, knowledge or interest in the automotive performance market, preferred but not a must.

Compensation:

Hourly wage is variable depending on Experience.
