are fully electric and include the auto fold-up feature just like European Spec

In this option, the carbon fiber
overlays come separately from the mirror and must be applied with glue
or double-sided tape. These overlays only cover halfway underneath the
mirrors.

Note: These are for a left hand drive
vehicle only.
These are 6-pin or 12-pin connector mirrors which plug DIRECTLY into your stock
harness. NOTE: Some late 2004-2005 E46 models use ribbon connectors instead of 6
pin connectors, please make sure you have the 6-pin or 12-pin connections before
making your purchase. Vehicle needs to be pre-wired with power folding to have
this feature working otherwise re-wiring might be needed. Power folding control
switch is available at your BMW dealer.
How do you know if you have a 6 pin or 12
pin connection?
Normally if the stock mirrors have reverse tilt feature, then the side mirrors
should be 12-pin connector. However, we did see a few exceptions in the past.
So, it's always safe to check stock harness. It's actually pretty easy to do. 30
mins job to find out. Consider it's the practice for the later install.
