the trunk on, screwed it in where the screws were with the stock trunk
and it was aligned perfectly! Fitment is out of this world. The weave

off, I am not affiliated with ModBargains in anyway; just a happy
customer from the experience I had recently. So back in December I
decided to take a chance on buying a CSL Trunk from ModBargains; knowing
full well how their design was compared to the real thing (NOTE: this
thread is just to give an honest review of ModBargains CSL Trunk; I know
the angle is not exact and some might not be a fan but if you do enjoy
the shape of their trunk then this review is for you) and how fitment
issues could be a factor.
Jurrian@ModBargains was very helpful in
answering my initial questions and assisting me in getting this product
shipped out. It arrived very well packed and the carbon fiber weave
looked really good considering the price! Needless to say I was very
excited to get this on my car. Well after finally waiting until the
spring to get my car looking ready for summer, I took my trunk over to a
body shop and explained what I was looking to get out of this (fitment
wise and paint scheme). This past weekend I finally picked up my car
from the shop and boy was I impressed!!
Although the curvature of ModBargains CSL
trunk may not be exact to the real thing, it was very unique and helps
set your car apart. I truly couldn't be happier with this piece and you
CANNOT beat the price they charge for this. Everything from my stock
trunk swapped over but I did purchase a new short trunk handle since my
old one had the long version. When I picked up my car, I spoke with the
guy who did the work and he explained how the install went. He explained
how great the trunk fit right from the start and very minor adjustments
were needed to get it to sit the way you see below.
Overall, I would recommend this trunk to any member looking for the
overall look of a CSL trunk for a fraction of the price. My car's rear
has a whole new look and I have already been complemented on the piece.
