Connecting Pipes
All
Supersprint alternate connecting pipes are mandrel bent for maximum performance.
The alternate pipe is designed to replace a resonator that is standard in that
same position. This option will increase sound slightly and reduce overall
system cost. The polished pipes are manufactured from 100% 304 stainless steel,
while the black pipes are aluminized mild steel.

Resonators
All Supersprint resonators are of the flow through resonated design. This
means each unit has no chambers or baffles to reduce velocity. Simply, a
straight through in & out design! The internal components are 100% stainless
steel with a high heat resistant rock wool sound suppressing material, not found
in any other systems. This is the reason we can offer you sound legal
performance exhaust systems. Tubing is always mandrel bent for maximum flow.
Flanges and hangers are O.E. or better quality for a perfect fit every time.
Housings are all manufactured from 1.5mm material that is M.I.G. welded at all
seams. The stainless systems are 100% 304 stainless, the mild steel systems are
aluminized on the inside and out, then black heat coated for corrosion
prevention.

Your Options to Choose From...
For this section of the E46 M3 exhaust system you can choose from two options
offered by Supersprint. It simply depends if you would like to retain a
resonator or remove it. Removing a resonator will affect the weight, tone, and
loudness of the exhaust system and will also improve air flow even more than the
resonated pipe!
