designed to install directly into your stock diverter pipe, for an easy
installation. This blow off valve system is specifically for the BMW N54 engine
where other blow off valves are universal. The Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port Blow
Off Valve is an ideal upgrade for anyone who is running higher boost
(software or tune) and a necessity if you would like greater boost response and

Fully Recirculation vs. Atmospheric Vent
The Turbosmart Dual Port BOV can either
be configured as a 50/50 (progressive porting give early valve lift
recirculation and later valve lift vent to atmosphere), fully recirculation BOV
or 100% vent to atmosphere. Your N54's stock
system is a fully recirculation design that "recycles" the blown off air back
into the turbo. The recirculation design does not provide that "woosh" BOV
sound, but still will provide you with all the other benefits of upgrading your
BOV. The Turbosmart Dual Port system includes a special blanking plug allowing you to set it as a
atmospheric vent, where the blown off air will vent to the atmosphere and will
produce that "woosh" sound.

Turbosmart Dyno Charts
The Following dyno chart was
completed using a 1M, ONLY changing the stock diverter valves to the Turbosmart Dual Port BOVs. The graph shows the stock diverter valves leak
boost, especially down low where it counts. Just by switching them to the
Turbosmart Dual Port BOVs gains in torque are realized
throughout the RPM range, with gains of over 25 Ft./Lbs down low.
The following dyno shows manifold pressure,
and how just by switching to the Dual Port BOV boost pressure is maintained.
