IPD Plenum was founded in 2004, but they are no stranger to Porsche performance. They have been creating Porsche horsepower monsters for more then a decade. IPD has patented a new intake design called a plenum. Unlike the OEM, plastic "T" shaped intake, IPD's version is made out of high grade aluminum and in a "Y" shape, helping to channel the air more efficiently and rapidly. With a "T" shaped intake the air hits a wall and get slowed down, however with a "Y" shape the air gets cut and funneled.
