Get rid of your A4's stock intercooler and
replace it with an Evolution Racewerks Sport Front Mount Intercooler. The Evolution
Racewerks Intercooler features a 18"x6.5"x3" core for
greatly improved
cooling over stock. This intercooler is great for anyone running
either the stock turbo or any larger turbo (GT28R, GT28RS, K03, K04 etc.).
The Evolution Racewerks Sport Front Mount
Intercooler features all the innovations found in their "infamous" Competition
FMIC kit, however with a smaller intercooler core that is sized for stock
K03/K04 upgrade turbos and can even support the GT28 variant turbos. It also
retains the factory bumper reinforcement bar (no modifications needed) instead
of having a replacement piece found in the Competition FMIC kit.

Even though the Sport Intercooler seems compact
in size, it is not. It features 351 cubic inches of intercooler core,
comparable to the other intercoolers on the market. Instead of going tall and
thin like other competitor's FMICs, where half the intercooler is blocked behind
the bumper cover and does not receive direct cold airflow, the ER Sport FMIC is
short and thick. This puts more than 90% of
Sport Intercooler in direct cold airflow and
making the intercooler as efficient as possible. With the bumper cover on
however, one can hardly tell that the intercooler is not tall.
Evolution Racewerks does extensive R&D as well as
beta testing to ensure the highest quality intercoolers. Evolution Racewerks
also checks intercooler quality before the intercoolers are packaged.
EVERY FMIC is pressure tested to
50 PSI of pressure before they are shipped
to ensure no leakage. EVERY FMIC is test
fitted on the original component on the car (OEM radiator) to ensure perfect
fitment. High quality parts and accessories are included with the intercooler as
well as a detailed installation guide. All Evolution Racewerks' Intercoolers are
backed with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

As with the Evolution Racewerks Competition
Intercoolers, the Sport Front Mount Intercooler features a smog pump relocation
bracket. The stock bracket holds the smog pump in direct line of the shortest
path to the intercooler. We relocate the smog pump bracket so that we can get
the shortest amount of piping with the least amount of bends for increased
throttle response and faster spool up. Again, performance, no compromise.
Evolution Racewerks intercooler end tanks feature a "rolled" design and are
ported and smoothed out on the inside for better flow, helping with throttle
response and faster spool up. The end tanks
are welded inside and out as well to ensure strength. We supply a new more
efficient external power steering cooler to help dissipate heat from the power
steering fluid (Audi power steering pumps are prone to failure) and does not
require you to "rig" the old power steering cooler.

The Evolution Racewerks Front Mount
Intercooler is available in mirror polished finish and type III hard black
anodized finish. The type III anodized black finish is great for anyone who
wants a stealthy look, and it is very hard to tell there is an aftermarket
intercooler on the car, unless you know it's there. Another benefit of the black
anodized finish is that it makes the intercooler fins harder and stronger, which
makes it less prone to getting bent/damaged from road debris. Testing on
Evolution Raceworks' rally car has shown the black anodized finish has no
ill-effect on performance whereas regular spray paint has shown negative
effects.
