Car of the Month October 2011

As far back as I can remember I have been into cars. When I was a kid, I was always playing with Micro Machines, playing Rad Racer on NES, and building model cars. So it only seemed natural after I got my E46 325i, to start modifying it. Unfortunately, at 17 years old, cash was low and my mods consisted of clear euro corners and tints.

Flash forward 9 years. I just bought my CPO ’07 335i and I knew I wanted to make it the best looking E92 in Miami. With the help of Luis Duran from OSS Designs, we set off to reach that goal. My first mods were the OSS LED Angels with a full blackout and black E92 kidney grilles. Just those two mods changed the whole look of the car, but I wanted more. Luis photoshopped various parts on my car and I immediately fell in love. Instantly I contacted ModBargains to try and ease the itch the mod bug gave me. After speaking with Alan several times and having all my questions answered, I finally purchased the parts. The madness had begun! Alan and the rest of the team at ModBargains set me up with a carbon E92 fiber vented hood, carbon fiber CSL style trunk, E92 painted reflectors, an aFe N54 dual cone intake, and a set of 19x9.5 Miro 111’s (wrapped in Falken 452’s 225 fronts and 235 rears). These parts were accompanied by M-Tech front bumper and E92 M-Tech rear bumper, E92 M3 sideskirts, Studie 3D Design splitters, a custom OSS 1 piece splitter, E92 H&R race springs, BMS JB+ and some other exterior parts.

It took sometime to put everything on the car, but when it all finally came together I was extremely happy. Apparently so was everyone else on E90post, as I was voted July car of the month! Fortunately for my wallet, phase 1 was complete, but phase 2 is already in the works and ModBargains will be my go-to vendor. Huge thanks to ModBargains for answering all my questions and to Luis with OSS Designs for helping me with everything!

Phase 2 will consist of an air ride setup, stud conversion, spacers, a new stereo/trunk setup, M-Tech steering wheels, and Alcantara headliner.
