adjustment for proper rear driveline angles is required, Belltech pinion shims
are your solution. Belltech Pinion Shims are used to correct the pinion
angle when lowering leaf spring-equipped on your Ford Truck. Belltech's Pinion
Shims are designed to eliminate vibration due to improper driveline alignment.
Fits any pickup with 2.5" to 3" wide leaf springs. Offers 1-6 degrees of
correction. Each pair is crafted from aluminum and comes with all necessary
hardware.
The pinion angle is the angle where the driveshaft and
differential meet. Sometimes when you lower a truck the pinion angle is changed
enough to cause the driveshaft to bind. A pinion shim can be used to keep the
pinion angle at factory specs and prevent or correct this problem.
