Often, slight modifications are required such as trimming, sanding, filing, or smoothing the surface in order to get best fitment and appearance. We recommend having this product installed by a company that has experience working with AFTERMARKET body kit pieces, not a standard collision repair center that only works on insurance claims. Thank you Alan for the m3 style front bumper. When most vendors reply with a few words, Alan makes it clear and helps you with the purchase and doesn't try to force you to buy anything you don't want. I've purchase aftermarket front bumpers for different cars and different vendors and this m3 style bumper by far is the most impressive I've seen. At first I was a little discourage when he said it may need to be prepped because I've had bumpers that really needed prepping with extra flexible plastic. This bumper however was smooth and in excellent shape.

Just finished installing the new bumper over the weekend and decided to post a pic. Thanks to Modbargains. Turned out great IMO. The fitment is near perfect. Very impressive for an aftermarket body part.

I haven’t received the bumper yet but I will first say I’m sure this product will be great as I’ve heard great things from this company and have seen real results on older BMWs like mine. My only complaint is that I was not made aware of the back order status from the ~very~ beginning. This is not to say I did not sign an agreement of back order status after I’ve placed the order. I just wish the item stock and quantity status would be made publicly available to prospective customers in addition to actual customers.
